This week at Ashmount
Plans have been under way for several years for Ashmount's move to a brand new building on a wonderful green site on Crouch Hill (which we will share with Bowlers Nursery, the Cape Youth Project and a new Ecology Centre) - click here for all the details.
Planning permission for the Crouch Hill Site was granted at a meeting of Islington's planning committee on 13 October 2009. This is a hugely significant step for the school and for the Crouch Hill Site, and our thanks go to all the parents, carers, and friends of the school who showed their support for the project, as well as to our partners at Crouch Hill. It was a real team effort!
STOP PRESS NEWS: We have just heard that both the Mayor of London and the Secretary of State have approved the grant of planning permission for the Crouch Hill Site. All the permissions are now in place for work on this fantastic project to proceed. News of next steps will follow as soon as we have it!
