Parent Teacher Association

We are very fortunate to have a PTA that is a thriving part of the school community. The PTA raises money to enhance facilities within the school, and organises social events to bring parents, children, staff and friends together.

All parents and members of the school community are more than welcome to get involved. We send regular letters home giving dates for forthcoming events, and also requests for help when we need extra hands! After events have taken place, the School Newsletter reports how much we raised, and what the money will be spent on.

PTA Committee

Co-Chairs of the PTA: Jane Morgan and Arabella Weir

Vice-Chair: Rachel Johnson

Secretaries: Gail Walker and Tina Harrison

Treasurer: Catherine Cunningham

The PTA has an email list used to circulate information. If you would like to join this list, please email Gail and Tina. Alternatively, members of the committee are to be found in the Infant and Junior Playgrounds most mornings - please come and say hello!

What PTA fundraising has bought for the school in the last few years:

New football goals, basketball and netball posts; new playground markings; wet play equipment for each class; £100 for each class teacher to spend on resources for their class; trip for the whole school to the theatre at Christmas; refurbishment of the Nursery and Reception Garden.

For details of upcoming PTA events, see the school diary.

Everyone is welcome to attend PTA meetings. The next meeting will take place on Tuesday 10 November at 7.30 pm in the Caretaker's Cottage. The main item on the agenda will be planning for the Winter Fair on Sunday 6 December. Hope to see you there!
