How can I help my child to get the best out of school?
My child is struggling with self-esteem - what can I do at home to help build confidence?
How can I help my child understand about separation/divorce?
My child has terrible tantrums - why? And what can I do about them?
These are some of the many questions with which Vicky Mattison, our own school link child psychologist from the Islington Community Child Psychology Service, can help. She works as part of the school's team, and is available to anyone who would like the opportunity to talk about their child's emotional wellbeing, concerns about behaviour at home, family relationships, self-esteem, learning difficulties, friendships, or other issues affecting children, young people and their families.
Vicky is available to see Ashmount parents and carers in school on Tuesday mornings between 9.30 am and 12.30 pm. You can book a time to see her by speaking to Paula Pugh in the school office, or by calling 020 7272 7145.
