This week at Ashmount
Plans have been under way for several years for Ashmount's move to a brand new building on a wonderful green site on Crouch Hill (which we will share with Bowlers Nursery, the Cape Youth Project and a new Ecology Centre) - click here for all the details.
Planning permission for the Crouch Hill Site has now been granted at a meeting of Islington's planning committee on 13 October. This is a hugely significant step for the school and for the Crouch Hill Site, and our thanks go to all the parents, carers, and friends of the school who showed their support for the project, as well as to our partners at Crouch Hill. It was a real team effort!
STOP PRESS NEWS: We have just heard that the Mayor of London has approved the granting of planning permission for the Crouch Hill Site - another major step forward for this fantastic project.
The plans now have to be approved by the Secretary of State - more news to follow as soon as we have it...
